Indo V/S Pak- The NonStop Rivals

Get up and bash the ground! This exact feeling pops in whenever there is a match between India and Pakistan. These never ending rivalry give both the countries and their meticulous matches an extra edge over others.  No matter whether it is our very old test match, the recent twenty- twenty or ODIs, the sparks between the two nations always heats up at the ground. Though the key reason behind this remains a mystery but, media certainly has a big hand in rolling the picture. Moreover, the exaggerated publicity does it all!

Starting from yester years till date ever since these countries were separated something or the other makes them remain in news.

Last Sunday was no different when the fumes were felt ever again in both the teams on the sports event of Asia Cup 2010. It would not be wrong if we state them as attention seekers in every sport event however, we need to understand that who are the actual faces behind this who draws attention of the audiences and sponsors to their possible clashes. Even if we take a look at the history, their clashes and controversies have always been successful in grabbing the lime light.

Who can forget the uncertain clash of the World Cup in the year 1999 when these two countries were fighting on and off fields during Kargil war. The teams exchanged obvious blows which indirectly concentrated the entire ambiance of the field. Not going too far, in the year 2003, no one  was ready to leave their TV screens as Sachin Tendular’s unforgettable count of 98 majorly supported India to taste victory in that particular match.

Cricket is not the only field where these two countries show up their differences. The case is same everywhere. Not even a single sports event or any occasion for that matter is left empty handed when India and Pakistan come across each other. But since cricket is one of the most favorite sports events throughout the world thus, it gets more highlighted. No wonder the players try and remain in their best behaviors off field however, things are certainly not that trouble-free among them.

So, what makes them gain so much of grudge against each other. Is it their internal differences or is it the external forces that make them do so. Whatever it is we all love to see hyped up situation and would not mind the clashes among these two countries that makes the game all the more eye catching as far as they are done maintaining their nation’s and individual dignity.
